Missing Post

Sorry to take down the blog entry. I’ll explain more later…

….ok, it’s “later”

Let me first say that I was NOT told to take down the posts by anyone (I don’t want that rumor to get started).

So yeah, you guys feel free to use any one of these posts as a place to communicate with each other. Until you win the 5 million, it’s better to remain anonymous on this site(f.y.i.)

People are still coming to the blog looking for things they might expect in their audition cities, but those questions will have to be answered by others.
Sorry to delete the post with all the Audition conversation from before. I was told I was being “monitored” (from a music friend of mine) and I started getting all paranoid. Normally, something like that would just make me speak out more, but I have some other auditions for stuff coming up, and I don’t want to be the guy who gets blacklisted over something silly–I already have enough strikes against me as it is. Hope you guys understand.

I really was trying to help. It makes me happy to know that I did get to help a few people get past a few rounds and save them hours of wait-time, but it annoys the hell out of me that I have to type on blog-eggshells. Such is life.

For anyone else who stumbles here looking for info. Google and Bing the audition process. There IS other info out there (it’s just all scattered).
So to any newcomers, feel free to post your stories and advice to others here. Just don’t use your real name if you do that. That’s the best I can do right now.

Wishing nothing but the best to the people who made the show. I know it’ll be a huge smash and I look forward to watching!

    Aw Man this is so sad.
    This was the only post on the net where people were talking about the callbacks. I hope it means good news for you and that they did not just make ou take it down.
    I am feeling like it's the point of no return now :(

            I'm still waiting, can't help but think the worst, of course, because it's taking so dang long. I must say we waiting ones should be reallly proud of how far we have gotten in this historic event. God bless Simon Cowell (and you too BOB for the blog) for finally stepping forth for the first time in our lives to say, "You don't have to be 15 to 28 to sell records and here is 5 million dollars up in the air, to prove it!" Kudos to all who even went to audition for this.

                Well they technically can't call the talented people til they have seen all the talent and that will be after April 30th. I hope that makes people feel better. I know it made me feel somewhat less stressed about it. Keep the faith!

                  Oh..btw…my comments have been all screwy on this board..i changed a setting and can't seem to get it working like normal…now it holds a comment till I approve it? (which is not what I want at all) Will mess with it later and try to get it all fixed…
                  technology is not always my friend.

    Aww, that really is a shame. But your blog really helped a LOT of people get through the audition process without as many regrets as they could have had without the great background info you gave them. Thanks for that!
    It was fun just checking in every once in a while to see the new comments and even being able to help others. You got that warm fuzzy feeling, you know? Haha, well thanks anyway, Bob. This was a real help. :)

      I really enjoyed it as well. When I used to blog daily back from 2000 to 2006, I used to get a bunch of daily comments(this was way before Facebook and Twitter shortened everyone's thoughts down to 140 characters)…but never anything like the 300 comments I got off one entry LOL
      It just goes to show how much interest people have for this show.

      I'm wondering what sort of Time Slot this show will get and what other show it'll be up against. I'll be curious to see how "The Voice" factors into the equation.

    just got an email about the tickets to live auditions (http://www.on-camera-audiences.com/shows/show/337/The_X_Factor/) Does that mean I didn't get to the live audition because everything is all set now? I still haven't heard anything after the audition with the executive producer.

      hmmm… I wish the other people who are all set to be on the show would chime in and shed some light on the subject.
      When you did you last audition did they say "ok, thank you very much …well be in touch (if we want to use you)" or was it "thank you very much (we will be in touch either way)."

      I'm still trying to keep hope alive but if they're already selling tickets for the live shows, i dunno.
      I don't really know how the show works since I've only seen clips from the UK but it seems like the main audience audition in like America's Got Talent?

        They have been holding a "lottery" for tix to live show in LA, since the LA auditions. So don't freak out people. Calm down. It's possible that the "non-talent" people have been slated but they can't make final decisions on real talent til they have seen everyone from the first five cities and all of the XFactor booth submissions. Deadline is April 30th. I'm hoping I am right. It sounds logical, no?

      Are all of you in the same boat? I think there was someone here who said they're scheduled to perform but they've been pretty quiet. Hoping you guys can help each other out.

    I was told "Ok. Thank you. Somebody will be in touch with you." still trying to stay positive; if not, at least I've got 4 tickets to go watch the live audition and see why I didn't make it~

    Hey guys…I was having trouble with that other commenting system. Basically…it gave me 4,000 SPAM COMMENTS and rather than go through each of those to delete…i just got rid of everything.nnHopefully this should work out.nnSo far…no one’s heard anything on anything in case you’re coming here to check.nHope you keep me updated.nThanks!

    oh cool. I’ll check the link. I took out the key word searches that brought people to my site when searching. I was going crazy with all the emails asking for x-factor info. Before, when it was posted, it was easy.. but to have to answer everyone individually in an email and getting the same questions over and over, that got to be rough! lol nGoes to show how much interest there is in the show.nglad ya stopped back in to say HEY. hopefully, things are going well.:)
